    Robert B. Johnston Robert Johnston, BSc (Hons), MSc, DipEd, PhD, is a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Systems at Monash University, Clayton Victoria. Robert spent many years working in manufacturing industry, much of the time as a freelance consultant. He designed and implemented over 25 systems in financial control, inventory control, production control, sales analysis, and materials requirement planning. His research interests include electronic commerce, electronic data interchange, advanced trading and marketing systems, management information systems, production and inventory control and human issues in computer system implementation.
