Eruditions is a fully commercial publisher, publishing quality referreed titles
to the world. Eruditions was also established to fill an important market need:
many academics and writers have long been producing high quality works which
have never been published. This is due in most part to the financial constraints
created by a small market such as Australia. Yet Australian authors rank equal
in quality to any in the world.

Why don’t traditional
publishers use new technology publishing? Two reasons: first, traditional
publishers are committed to outdated practices. Second, traditional publishers
are mostly large multinationals with extensive bureaucracies, buildings, warehouses,
staff, and so on. To sustain these high overheads, only predictably high
volume titles meet publishing criteria. Quality books with uncertain, cutting
edge or smaller markets cannot provide the income security required. The quality
of your manuscript is not a priority. How do we know? Eruditions staff have
many years successful experience at all levels and in all facets of the traditional
publishing industry.

Eruditions is interested in quality
manuscripts, whether or not the market is large. Of course, there still must
be a defined market, but we can definitely start with smaller expectations than
larger traditional publishers. This does not mean we stop marketing at these
smaller numbers. In fact, the notion of 'a print-run' defining a publisher's
expectations of a book is no longer relevant. At Eruditions, our commitment
to publish your book is the indication of our high expectations.
